Falling Whistles - a campaign for peace in Congo

I just became aware of the Falling Whistles campaign and feel the strong need to share this initiative with anyone willing to listen.

As you may already know, the Congo is home to the world's most brutal and deadliest war. I'm not an expert on this tragic situation, but what I did learn is that children are abducted from their homes and families by the rebel armies and forced into the frontline of war. Those too small to carry a gun are instead given whistle. Upon confrontation with the enemy, the children are directed to form a line - a human barricade - and blow their whistles as loud as possible. They're told the noises from the whistles will scare the enemies. In actuality, the children serve to shield the older soldiers from the first round of fire.

A non-profit organization based in the US is taking the initiative to help these young children and rejuvenate them from the harshness, danger and atrocities of the war. Whistles are available for purchase, and 100% of the proceeds go directly to restoring the lives of those children affected by the war.

Can I offer you a hand?

Hand soap available for sale. Considered "a functional work of art." And as individual works of art, no two hands are exactly alike. I imagine 1/1 is written on the bottom of each.

So, why is it that the cost of each shoe changes per country? And why is Japan the cheapest?
