As you may already know, the Congo is home to the world's most brutal and deadliest war. I'm not an expert on this tragic situation, but what I did learn is that children are abducted from their homes and families by the rebel armies and forced into the frontline of war. Those too small to carry a gun are instead given whistle. They're told the noises from the whistles will scare the enemies. In actuality, the children serve to shield the older soldiers from the first round of fire.

Whistles are available for purchase, and 100% of the proceeds go directly to restoring the lives of those children affected by the war.
